School basedapprenticeshipsareoften the start of a long term trade career as students can sample different trades while still at school. The student completes their senior education, begins work experience in the trade of their choice and attends a Registered Training Organization (RTO) to learn the technical aspects of the trade. The training organizationworks with the student and the employer to develop the training plan.
